I transferred to Dr. Dinesen's office from a midwifery practice when we found that I was pregnant with twins. He was a very nice guy and I didn't really have any issues with the care... until the end. At 32 weeks pregnant with twins, after 2 months of bedrest and with a stitched up cervix, I started having major contractions. This was over a weekend. I was seen on Monday, the contractions were monitored, and even though I could barely speak through them and was writhing in pain, I was sent home with a prescription for something to settle down the contractions (this was 9yrs ago, I forget what). The contractions continued that day, and that night (TMI warning) the amniotic sac litterally POPPED OUT OF ME through the stitched cervix. I had to take an ambulance to the hospital for an emergency c-section. Was delivered by the head of obstetrics who was luckily there. And after all that, I never received a call or follow-up from Dr. Dinesen's practice. A lady who is on bedrest with a stitched cervix, pregnant with twins suddenly stops showing up after visiting the office with heavy contractions, and no follow up at all? Not a call, nothing?

To this day, I'm angered by how it went down. I still can't believe it.
